Logline:
An alien from a distant and dying planet travels through a small gap in the orbit in hopes of finding a new home for his people on Earth.
Synopsis For Frank & The Orbital Gap:
A typical night in Lyons Falls, N.Y. Frank Dower settles in for a night of guilty pleasure, reality-show programming until all-at-once the TV Screen goes dark and he is contacted by a strange alien being from another planet! Obviously, Frank is confused. While an undoubtedly an amazingly mind-blowing event, surprise alien visitations were never before included in his Basic Cable Package!
The alien tells Frank a tale too incomprehensible to believe…
“There is a gap in the Earth’s orbit...The Gap extends billions of miles...The Gap Connects to a distant and dying planet…The Gap can provide escape and survival to millions of aliens… if only Frank will help!“
What will he do? The Alien’s tale…well frankly, it’s a lot and Frank may need a minute or several minutes to decide.
An opportunist by trade, a crack-pot by nature, Frank Dower decides to strike a bargain, a trade-arrangement to help the alien, ( “Nugin” From the Planet Festa Epsilon7 ) To enable free-travel between both worlds. Frank vows to host the first Inter-Galaxy Airport right on his front lawn!
Frank is determined but he’s not exceptional. To realize his dreams, he must work together with Nugin to dodge paranoid UFO-obsessed tourists, a nosey government appointed UFO Investigator, a hostile pentagon official, and his less than sympathetic neighbor/girlfriend, Jenny Sloate.
Frank & The Orbital Gap Is a sci-fi comedy that makes a b-line to a strange and distant world of laughs.
